I think the picture is very colourful, graceful, beautiful and amazing! I just reminds me when I look at it of the flower patch at a park i used to go to as a child.
DESCRIBE THE PAINTING TECHNIQUE:
I think Aunty Sally started with a black background which you can see peering through the back. I think she was very free when painting and might have blocked in the shapes first then filled in the detail.
DESCRIBE THE COLOURS AND WHY YOU
THINK THEY WERE THE CHOSEN ONES TO USE:
I love all of these fresh, glowing, beautiful, bright colours. I think they were chosen because flowers are naturally bright and wild colour wise!
WHAT STORY OR IDEA DO YOU THINK AUNTY SALLY WAS TRYING TO TELL:
I think this could have been a child hood memory area for Aunty Sally or else she might have wanted to share this beautiful area/spot with the world! As you can proberly see this peice of art doesn't really tell a story but is still mind stopping and amazing!
